To help me further understanding the topic, I did a survey with females to help me understand their feelings, emotions & perception on today’s beauty standard. Hoping that I would get an insight on what truly drives someone to undergo plastic surgery. From the results, I have found some interesting informations and insights.

Conclusion and Insights I gain from my survey!
From my survey, I understand that many females around me also feel the need to fit into the beauty standard. As majority of them mentioned features that they want to achieve are the ideal beauty features of our society (Asia).
Besides, I realised half of my surveyor had been condemned on their looks before. Some of the most common features they got condemned is on their body such as weight. The people that make all this comments most of the time are people that they are close with such as family and friends.
Moreover, I also realised that majority of my surveyor rate their own appearance average. This makes me curious as to why do all of female feel they are average instead of beautiful. Is this related to our own self-esteem or how unsatisfied we are with our own apprearance and facial features?
