This week, we are to present on our findings from the article provided. The article we are given is on “Photo-novel as a medium”. In the article the author discussed how photo-novel had always been misunderstood and look down, through the article he is trying to uncover what photo-novel truly is.

Here is some of the other informations that I learned from my classmates presentation that could help me with my photo-novel project:

1. Size and Number of images

- The images could heavily affect the reading spend and the expression of narration.

2. Spaces between images

- Gives suspend and curiosity, thus gauges emotional response

3. Types of genre and age group

- Different genre has different layout

Eg: Romance novel had bigger picture, slow reading pace, allow dramatic emphasization

4. Detail on speech bubble

- Different shape conveys different meanings

5. Shadows

- Help focus on character and adding suspense

6. Angles

- Expression of face change depending on the angle

In conclusion, every small detail of the photo-novel should be take into consideration to be able to tell a story.
