Getting started! (week 1)

Writer's picture: TengTeng

To start of this semester, we were brief on our outstanding assignments & project for GDC since we have completed a few of our course work during our past semester. Therefore, currently, we were to work on our 1000 words about someone & EAOT.

This week, I did not do much however take my time to understand the brief & learning outcomes. So here is some of my initial progress for both projects.

1000 words about someone

Currently, I have plan on interviewing either one of my friends. Therefore, all I have to do now is to set the questions and set up an interview with either of them.

Brainstorming sesh for questions and scope

Person of choice 1 : A person that fits into the stereotype of an asian person such as having excellent grades, knowing how to play at least one musical instrument & currently pursuing to be a pharmacist.

Scope: The pressure of asian children to be the perfect child? or Asian society & it's pressure to pursue sciences?

Person of choice 2: A person that turn her interest into business at a young age.

Scope: Turning an interest into a career or business? or Earning money with an interest at a young age?

EAOT (everything about one thing)

As for now I do not have a strong topic and direction as I am still on the brainstorming stage, but here is some of the "things" that I am interested to look more into! I have categorised some of the things I like into categories of tangible & intangible. After listing it down I circle some of the topics I found interesting and could be the main "thing" for my project.

Potential topic 1: Comfort

Pontential topic 2: Gen Z

Here are just some of the potential topics and sub-topics that I could explore for my EAOT. I would be continuing my progress in the next couple of weeks but that's all I have for now!
