🌸Week 8 ( DES1203)

This week is our Photoshop workshop. First of all, we learned the difference between AI and Photoshop. The biggest difference between this two is that one is for design the other one is for pictures. This is because, if we zoom in the design in AI it will still remain clear but if we zoom in in Photoshop the picture or design will be blur since it was run by pixels while AI is run by vectors. We did some activities such as learning about the layers, the color swatches and how to edit pictures. I really have fun in this workshop and I could not wait for the next workshop.

I have did some of my design and experiments for Project 1 but since the time is quite tight yesterday, I am going to show my design during our next meetup with our lecturer.

During our meet up, I have shown my lecturer a few designs and typography that I have made for my designs.

A) RUBIK'S CUBE

This is the design and typography I have did for the idea Rubik's cube.

I have also did a few experiment based on Rubik's cube. I create alphabets by playing and turning around the cube to get specific alphabets such as Z, Y, N, J and many more.

B) MUSIC SHEET

The design and typography I have created is based on the music sheets and notes. I have combined the notes to form alphabets.

C) AVOCADO

This design is inspired by avocado and heart. Since, the avocado seed is huge I used it to represent that I have a big heart. So for my design, I made the letter is avocado + cardiac + avocardiaco.
