This week, most of us would start focusing on our Portfolio and Everything connect.
After my feedback from the lecturer, I decided to change my concept a little bit. I decided I would like to combined both the meaning of my name (osmanthus flower) and my love for poetry to communicate my manifesto as a designer and along the way tells the story about my journey in design. I had written a few poems on my sketchbook to show my lecturer.
While for my everything connect, I just continue to develop from the topic "How entrepreneurs utilise social media to boost consumerism". I had already plan on how I wanted to fold it. I decided to try it out on a blank paper to make sure my idea would work.
Feedback:
Connection of manifesto and osmanthus flower is interesting. However, each poem need to include an explanation to show it's connection. Visual reference need to be shown by next week. You could take a look at the 'Minimal Vegan' book as reference if you like.
The content for everything connect is fine, you could do a little bit more research on the film "Minimalism Film" on Netflix which talked about consumerism and how many people thaught consuming more= happiness.
