This week tutorial session we talked about the packaging for my characters.
I have gave out a few ideas. The first idea is that the box would be something like an Identity card for the characters. After discussion, Ms VinSze ask me to try out different ways to design the packaging. One of the method she suggested is by using some of my past sketches for the packaging. I took her advice and started designing the packaging since we still have 1/2 weeks left. The idea for the Identity card still remains but it will be inside the box.
I also figured out what the design of my 4th character. I decided the memo pad would have the face of the character. Some of the method I was thinking about is using lino to print on the memopad to create the face. I also create the mock up for my character/product.
Lastly, I have decided to print on fabric for my Little India character. I have created design and ask Ms Fedda for her opinion on the fabric printing. I have already design it, the next step is printing and sewing it.
