🌸Research and Exploration (WEEK 9)

Here is just a few research and exploration I have tried out for my project. Some of this experimentations help me figure out how I want my visual books to look like.

I wanted the book to be from the dog point of view, so I tried experimenting with lantern papers of blue and yellow to give the effect of looking with just the colour of blue and yellow. However, I figured out that the lantern paper still could not cover other colours that the dog can't see, so in the end I decided to just doodle on top of the picture with colour of blue and yellow.

I also try to mix my sketches into real life pictures since I wanted my book to have a mix of reality and imagination.

Since, this story is about dogs so I try to do a brief research on the dog body language. I found out that the dog emotions and feelings could sometimes be seen through its tail.

I also wanted it to be something through a lens of a dog to represent through the point of view of dog so I decide to make it something like an album.
