I have never actually make a post fully on my visual book, but since I have finish all my illustration I think is time for me to talk about it!!

For my visual book I wanted it to be a mix of reality and imagination, so I came up with the idea of doodling on pictures. Some of my scenes is from the pictures I took during my research at that area, but some of the scenes I have to go there to retake.

Here is some of the pictures, I have taken on the second time!!

I try to experiment with different materials, to get the effect I wanted but it didn't turn out like how I wanted it to, so in the end I still stick with doodling on black and white pictures.

I tried experimenting with lantern papers to showcase the view of a dog since they can only see in this specific colours (blue and yellow)

I have also printed a mock up to see if the whole concpet works. I figured out there are some of the places where I can improved on!

I alxo figured out that the printing have someproblem, so I am going to find another printing shop to print my book.

For the binding, I wanted to do the kettle stich binding which I have previously learned in my class!!

Click here if you want to see what I learned!!

During my tutorial, my lecturer have give me some comments on how I could improve my book she say it is better to add a little more texture on the dog to make it look a little bit more stray. I took her advice and add in shadows and dimension to the dog!!
