Today activity is related to mapping, but we are going to make the map into a map about ourselves!! I brought all the materials I can find from my house for today activity, and print pictures for those I cant find!

This is how my map looks like after adding all the photos and information!!!

The few places listed on the pink paper are the places I am usually at.

The first place I talked about is Klang, I spent most of time in Klang since I had been studying there from Pre-school up to Secondary school, so most of my chidhood is spent in Klang. I label a few memorable things happen in my childhood. For example, my favourite comic, my go-to breakfast, my favourtie comic and many more. I also draw out a few moments that I treasure spending it in Klang.

I am currently living in Shah Alam, so I will be talking about my opinion on Shah Alam

Shah Alam Seksyen 7 are known for its themepark. The themepark is called the I-CITY Themepark. The themepark have several sections such as Water World, Red Carpet and many more. I lived really close to the thempark, probably 8mins walking time. At first, I am really happy since a themepark is just behind my house, but I later realised the consequences ( I draw it out on my map!!)

Subang area is currently where I am studying

I just did a few for Subang, since I dod not live there. From my opinion, Subang is a place where I spent my time at usually at Shopping malls. Besides, Subang is also famous for its food, so I add it in!!

This week (week3) we continue with our map activity, but this time we are combining our maps. Me and my group maps are now being combined into a bigger paper. We stick our map according to where each part of us are from. For example, Natelie is from Penang so we stick hers on the left handside. After sticking, we started to share each of our map, so that we will know what all of us have in common!! I really have fun doing this activity because I get to know my friends through this activity. To illustrate, if we had not done this activity I wouldn't know that Chloe have gone through earthquake during 2015.

This is how our maps look like together with all the strings

Here is a closer look at our maps:

Here is what each of the strings represent:

Our map are more on the feelings we felt about a certain places!

From this activity, I learned that at first our map may not look like they have anything in common but if we look closer into it they are some qualities that we share, and could make conections. Making connections is important, so we could link what we have to the idea.
