This character here is Mabel Pines, a 13yo girl from the TV show Gravity Falls.
First impression:
Based on my observation on the character, I can say that she has a really bright and optimistic personality. Her big smile and cheerful appearance makes her a really fun and funny character. I really like how the way she dressed up with sparkles and colourful sweaters which kind of remind me of my 12yo self!!

-She is bubbly, loud, outgoing, energetic, silly, and optimistic
-She can also be a little naïve, arrogant and tends to leap before she thinks.
- She’s very kind and always puts her family first, but she can be very tough when she wants to be.

- She loves having sleepovers and dance parties with her friends
- She values her friendship with Candy and Grenda, which bonds using their mutual weirdness
-She really lik glitter, giant sweaters, knitting, crafting, unicorns, and boys

-She lives in Gravity Falls, for the summer with her twin brother Dipper and their great-uncle Stan
- Her room was share with her twin brother and you can clearly see the different personality they both have.
-She also spend most of her time working at her great uncle store (Mystery Shack)

Based on my observation, her personality reflect on the way she look. For example, most of the time she has a smile on her face, that could represent her bubbly personality. She could be a little quirky sometimes which also reflect on her behavior. She would always do something silly and funny such as sticking jewels on her face!!
Her liking for art and crafts could also be showcased on what she wear. She would always be seen with different types of sweater, each sweater is really colourful and represent her personality (most of the characters wear the same shirt for all the episodes except her!!) She even DIY her own sweater for her personality to shine through!!
The setting environment of her room is very girly with poster of boybands to drawing of herself with her BFF. A typical 13yo girl room with pink decoration everywhere. Besides, no matter where she is she will always be the one who brighten everyone day!
Mabel character is relatable to a 13yo character that have gone through several emotions ("Strong Female Characters: Mabel Pines", 2016) . Her character faces fear of growing up and growing distance with her twin brother, which could be seen by the way she look and how she is dressed (her appearance is more childlike unlike her brother although they are the same age). This somehow have an emotional connection with the viewer because growing up is something everyone need to go through, so instead of living in the past we should enjoy the process. Besides, it also shows that even though someone might look happy and bright all the time will also experience sadness and other emotions.
Overall, I somehow find this character relatable in many aspect such as the struggles we go through as a child, so I think the character could reflect on how a child/teenager feels like growing up and what are the challenges they are facing.
