🌸Alphabet Hunt (WEEK6) 🔎

Writer's picture: TengTeng

This week, we were brief on the typography brief. The typography brief required us to create the english alphabets based on the place we want to research on. We were shown a few example from our senior. Based on their work, they did experimentation with different types of materials. Besides, they also try to view something in different perspective to create the alphabets.

After we have been brief, we did a small activity to get us started with our brief. We walk around INTI to observe and hunt for the english alphabets starting from A up to Z.

Here is some of the sketches I did and the letter I found through this activity.

Here is some of the images I took to give a clearer view of my sketches.

From this activity, I found that almost anything could be an alphabet if we take some time to observe the surrounding. For example, letter could be form from certain arrangement of objects for example the arrangement of several onigiri (japanese wrap food) form the shape of the alphabet W. Besides, from different angles or perspective I could see alphabet being formed.
